The print format and dpi selected in ShipStation's Label Document Options should always match the paper size and dpi of the printer used to print labels. Whatever your scenario, you'll need to take the following actions:

Or you may have ShipStation integrated labels in Tray 1 to print the label and packing slip for a shipment on a single sheet, and a different color of standard paper in Tray 2 to print pick lists. In this way you can use different types of paper for different documents and set ShipStation to automatically print selected documents with the paper used in each tray.įor example, in Tray 1 you might use Avery half-sheet labels to print 2 labels per page and in Tray 2 use standard letter or A4-sized paper to print your packing slips. If your standard desktop printer contains multiple trays, you can add another instance of your printer to your printer workstation System Preferences and use CUPS to assign a specific tray to each instance. Review the ShipStation Print Settings article for details. Your next step is to ensure your ShipStation label format is set correctly.

If you want to check and adjust the printer defaults for your standard printers, you should do so through the Mac CUPS option. In most cases, the default settings do not need to be adjusted on standard printers to accommodate printing in ShipStation. Your standard printer is now ready to use.

I'm finding the middle difficulty a nice fit, just enough to keep you on your toes without seeing your town razed every few minutes, and there are plenty of other problems to solve like food shortages and bouts of illness that can hew down your population. You can play Kingdoms and Castles without threats, if you'd prefer a completely peaceful experience, or with occasional threats (as I did), or with more frequent ones for a greater challenge. I clearly need to keep building up my defenses, especially if that dragon every returns. My heroes again prove a bit useless, but I've got a manned ballista which fires away at the invader, and as you can (sort of) see above, the Viking (carrying a red banner) keels over before he can do too much damage and escape. The next time the Vikings attack, I'm a bit better prepared. At least the Vikings don't stay long: after a bit of destruction, they politely return to their ship and sail away. Meanwhile, I'm busy trying to build a barracks and recruit some soldiers, but I only manage to train a couple of heroes, who aren't terribly effective against the Vikings. As they march down the roads they burn everything they pass: cottages, a tavern, even the road they're marching on. I get enough warning to know they're coming: they sail slowly across the sea and then trudge through the forest to my (still) defenseless town. I haven't see the dragon again (there are apparently ogres as well) but I've been invaded twice by Vikings.
